The Presidential Prayer Team

Open Letter To Members
Congress relies on your prayers --
     and to "Prepare the Way"

     Dear Maggie,

"The one thing we need, more than anything, is the continued prayerful encouragement of our people back home."

Those are the words -- not of a soldier or of a missionary -- but of U.S. Congressman Dennis Ross of Florida. It was part of the prayer he recorded with us just days ago for the Presidential Prayer Team's set of radio promos that'll be airing nationwide leading up to and on the National Day of Prayer May 5.

Rep. Ross' words tell you something incredibly significant and encouraging -- that he and many other members of Congress in Washington D.C. are desperately seeking your prayers for them as they go about the work of serving our nation. Our leaders are relying on you to intercede for them and the country ... that God would guide their decisions, and lead this land, into the future.

It's really what your Prayer Team is all about ... and it's certainly the focus of the National Day of Prayer as Americans come together in powerful, unified prayer for the nation -- and your Prayer Team will be there to help lead the way!

With only a few days remaining before the National Day of Prayer ... we greatly need your help in our campaign to "Prepare the Way" to accomplish two great outreach goals in the next 120 days:

  1. Mobilize for the National Day of Prayer
This is the single largest event for us all year, involving communicating with thousands of members, churches, and radio stations and providing you with excellent prayer resources and outlets leading up to and on May 5.

Thank you so much -- and remember our men and women of Congress as they serve. After all, they're relying on you.
