Maggie's Tuesday's 'Daily'

This is my Tuesday, October 28th, 'Daily' which I sent out to individual e-pals. Although I don't always get one 'daily', I do send one as often as I can. If you are interested to get on this list, please email me through this website's 'comment' availability.

Daily Thoughts from Guideposts

A Time to Think
"Let no one come to you without leaving better and happier."Mother Teresa

To Act
Live in harmony with your beliefs and ideals.

To Pray
Lord, give me the grace to support the people I love in making their own choices and decisions.

Harmony - Webster's defines it as "friendly relations".

Psalm 133:1 - "How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!"

Romans 12:16 - "Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!"

Romans 15:5 - "May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus."

With the election being exactly one week from today, there is a lot of adversity going on.  Now, you all know where
I stand on this, but the thing we all need to remember is that God is on His throne and everyone is allowed to have their own opinion.  Debates should not become hateful.  Disagreements should not become hostile.

Philippians 4:2"....Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement."

We are children of our Lord, we are brothers and sisters through God. Even though siblings never 'get along' all the time, and even though we all 'feel' our convictions, we must stand together under God's Word.

Psalm 34:3 - "Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt His name together."
Psalm 85:10 - "Unfailing love and truth have met together.  Righteousness and peace have kissed!"

Understand that I am NOT saying we have to AGREE with another's assessments.  We should defend our moralistic thinkings.  Webster defines 'moral' as "principles or standards with respect to right and wrong in conduct." So, in theory, we all should agree through the Bible exactly what IS the difference between right and wrong.  Hopefully, you will stand for God's principles and standards found in the Bible, and vote according to your personal beliefs.

Hope you have a peaceful and harmonious day.  Maggie
